Public Comment Process

If you would like to make a public comment at a Village Board, Commission or Committee Meeting please follow the process outlined below:

Attendance at a Meeting
All Village Board, Commission and Committee Meetings are open to the public. Agendas for all public meetings may be found here. Unless otherwise posted, meetings are held in the Board Room located at the Village Hall at 118 West Cook Avenue. During public meetings if public comment is listed on the agenda please complete a public comment form found in the  Village Hall Board Room. You will be called upon during public comment and given three minutes to speak.

Public Comments in Advance of Meetings (All Members of the Public are Encouraged to Attend In-Person for Comments)
Village Board Meetings
If you are unable to attend a meeting in-person public comments must be submitted to Vol@libertyville.com and include "Public Comment" in the subject title at least 4 business days in advance of the scheduled meeting date in order to ensure it is included with meeting packet materials. E-mails sent to other e-mail addresses are not guaranteed to be included with materials. 

Plan Commission/Zoning Board of Appeals, Appearance Review Commission/Historic Preservation Commission
