The Village provides residents with assistance with the proper disposal of their sharps: hypodermic needles, syringes, lancets and other sharp medical instruments. This program ensures materials are properly disposed of and prevents needles from entering solid waste streams.
To dispose of sharps, visit Fire Station 1 during regular office hours, Monday- Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4: 00 p.m.
It is requested that sharps that are brought in for disposal are stored in approved containers, however it is not required.
